Ph.D Entrance Test (PET 2014)

Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University (MKBU), Bhavnagar will conduct Ph.D Entrance Test (PET 2013) for taking admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program on 5th Jan, 2014. The programme will be offered at the Sir P. P. Institute of Science for the academic session 2014-15.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate holding recognized master’s degree or recognized degree equivalent to master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade is eligible to appear in this examination in the subject he holds his masters degree.
Five percent exemption in marks will be given to SC/ST candidate for the eligibility of PET examination.

How to Apply:

The application form is available from the university website www.mkbhavuni.edu.in
The fees of Rs. 1250/1000 should be paid through D.D. banker’s cheque favor of “Coordinator, Ph.D. entrance test, MKBU” payable at Bhavnagar.

Exam pattern:

The total marks for the test is 100 with duration of 120 minutes.
The entrance test shall consist of three components divided into two parts: i.e. paper-i and paper-II.

Date of the PET examination: 5th Jan, 2014
